On Sunday 09 July 2023, 26 of Trent Wings Squadron arrived at Royal Air Force Digby to take part in our annual Wing Field Day Competition which sees every Squadron compete in activities such as: Foot Drill, Banner Drill, Archery, Orienteering, First Aid, Tent Erecting, Clay Target Shooting, Shooting, Media, Aircraft Recognition and Music Ensemble.
Albeit only a day, Cadets spend months preparing for this event to win their Squadrons trophies and this showed with the high calibre of performances on show throughout the day.
The day wouldn't be possible without the support of Royal Air Force Digby, which is home to our Wing Headquarters so we are always grateful for the use of the Station as well as to the Station Commander, Wg Cdr Damian Todd, for presenting the awards on final parade.
The day finished with 384 (Mansfield) Squadron being announced the overall winners for Trent Wing Field Day 2023 and all of the competition winners as well as a photo gallery from the day can be found below:
