Trent Wing's Loss is the Region's Gain!
Central & East Region is delighted to announce that today Sqn Ldr Daniel Withnall is appointed to the Central & East Regional Staff as the Regional Training Officer. Daniel will leave Trent Wg, where he previously was OC 1265 (Horncastle) Sqn and Wing Heartstart Officer, OC Waddington Air Show Support Party, Wing Staff Officer for 10 years, Camp Commandant for Trent Wing Camps and Acting OC Trent Wg whilst OC Wg was on 4 months extended leave.
Whilst we are sad to see Daniel go and the undoubted hole it will leave within Trent Wing, we are pleased that he can now bring his skills to the Region and still support Trent from his new post.
Daniel said "I am excited to be taking on the Regional Training Officer Mantle and look forward to working with the Wing Training Officers and Regional Staff Officers at a time when we will be preparing for the return to face to face activities and what will become the new normal." Daniel has a wealth of experience in training, flying, H&S and staff development and will be a very welcome addition to the Regional Staff.
We wish Daniel all the very best in his new role and look forward to working with him as the new C&E Region Training Officer.
